New page

1 pound shell on uncooked shrimp

brine the shrimp:
1 cup water, dissolve 1/4 cup salt and 1/4 cup sugar
add 2 cups ice and shrimp
wait 30 min
rinse with fresh water
dry with paper towel

coat with peanut oil
coat with Old Bay seasoning
put a bowl in the freezer
broil 2 minutes, flip, another 2 minutes
toss into chilled bowl to stop cooking process
have light soy sauce for dipping

notes:
* 2x2 minutes is for my underpowered toaster oven. Probably 2x1 minutes for a regular oven
